About your For You and Following feeds

Your Home feed has two tabs at the top: For You and Following, and switching between them changes what you see quite a bit.

Following is a simple, reverse-chronological stream of posts from the accounts you've chosen to follow. If you want a feed that shows exactly what the people you follow are posting, and nothing else mixed in, this is the one to stay on.

For You is a broader mix that includes posts from accounts you follow plus additional posts InteractInk thinks you'll find interesting, based on what you've engaged with — your likes, replies, reposts, and the Communities you've joined. It's designed to help you discover posts and accounts outside your existing network rather than only showing what you've already chosen to follow. InteractInk remembers which tab you had open last, so it'll reopen there automatically the next time you visit.
