Read receipts and typing indicators

Article 13 of 22 in Using InteractInk

InteractInk chats show two small but genuinely useful signals while a conversation is happening in real time:

Read receipts — once the other person opens and actually views your message, you'll see a marker confirming it's been read, similar to how most modern messaging apps handle this. In a group chat, this reflects each individual member's status separately, rather than a single combined indicator for the whole group.

Typing indicator — while someone is actively composing a reply, you'll briefly see a "typing…" indicator appear near the bottom of the chat window, letting you know a response is likely on its way before it actually arrives.

Both of these signals are visible to everyone else in a given conversation, and currently there isn't a way to turn either one off individually for just yourself, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you're someone who likes to take your time before replying to messages.
