Customizing your profile

Your profile is how people recognize and get a first impression of you across InteractInk, and it's worth spending a few minutes getting it to feel like you.

• Go to your profile and tap Edit profile.
• Update your display name, bio, and location, if you'd like to share it publicly.
• Tap your profile picture or banner image to upload a new one — you can crop either before saving.

Your display name is flexible and can include spaces, emoji, or your real name, unlike your username, which is the @handle people use to find and mention you and follows stricter formatting rules. The two are managed separately: your display name lives here on your profile, while your username can be changed from your account settings if you decide you'd rather go by a different handle later on. None of these changes affect your existing posts, followers, or history — you can rework how your profile looks as often as you like without losing anything.
