Changing your display language

Article 9 of 10 in Managing your account

InteractInk's interface is available in several languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Russian, with more added over time as translations are completed.

You can switch languages two ways: from the language links in the site footer, which work even if you're logged out, or from your account's language setting once you've signed in, which remembers your choice across devices. Either way, this only changes the site itself — menus, buttons, settings screens, and static pages like the Help Center switch to your chosen language, but it doesn't translate anyone else's posts for you. If someone writes in a language you don't read, you can translate that individual post on its own from the post's options menu, and InteractInk will show you a machine-translated version underneath the original text without changing your overall interface language.
