How to follow and unfollow someone

Following an account means their posts start showing up in your Following feed, and in turn, they'll see you added to their followers list.

To follow someone: go to their profile and tap the Follow button, or tap Follow directly from one of their posts as it appears in your feed. If their account is set to private, your request goes into a pending state until they personally approve it, rather than following them immediately.

To unfollow someone: visit their profile and tap the button that currently reads Following — it switches to Unfollow when you hover over or tap it. Confirm, and their posts stop appearing in your Following feed right away. Unfollowing someone doesn't send them a notification of any kind, and it doesn't remove any past likes or replies you've left on their posts before you unfollowed.
