Reporting an account or impersonation

If the problem is with an account as a whole rather than a single post — repeated rule-breaking, ongoing spam behavior, or someone impersonating you or another person — you can report the account directly instead of reporting one post at a time.

• Go to the account's profile and open the ··· menu.
• Select Report account.
• Pick the reason that fits, choosing Impersonation specifically if the account is pretending to be you or someone you represent.

For impersonation reports in particular, having a couple of concrete examples ready before you start — a link to the fake account, and something that helps establish your own identity, like a link to your verified profile elsewhere — helps the review move noticeably faster, since moderators need to confirm who the real account actually is before taking action against the fake one.
